looking for a roommate. my current roommate is moving away for work. i am clean, professional and respectful of personal space.the total cost for rent + high-speed internet/wifi + utilities is a total of $970 per month.
apartment information:
the apartment complex has a convenience store, pool, and fitness room, as well as laundry on each floor. my apartment already is fully furnished with a couch, chairs, desk, tv, etc. and has more than enough kitchen amenities (convention over, blender, crock pot, plates, glasses, silverware,etc.), so there is no need to bring anything other than what you wish to have in your own bedroom.
the apartment building is in a safe, clean and up-and-coming area with a lot of nice restaurants, bars, theaters and practical shops. the place is just one mile from the pentagon and pentagon city (both metro areas), 5 minutes from clarendon, and 10 minutes from alexandria. i work in downtown dc and the commute is very easy and only 15 minutes on public transportation and less than 10 minutes away without traffic for those who commute (just an fyi for those who need to be there often). there are numerous bus stops on the end of the block, and metro access is only one mile away. there is available parking/month through the complex, or for free on the street.
