Additional Information
we are two mid-twenties female young professionals looking for a third roommate to share a house with in arlington. the house is about a 35 minute walk or 5 minute drive to either the pentagon city, crystal city, or ronald reagan national airport metro stations. it's also about a 10 minute drive ($15 cab ride) to ballston/clarendon or to old town alexandria. the house is a 3br/2ba duplex and has a huge fenced in back yard with a furnished deck as well as a furnished patio, freshly painted interior, and hardwood floors. the basement room which is for rent has carpeting. the house is pretty much furnished, so you would only need to bring the furniture for your room and whatever you wanted to add to the kitchen or decoration to contribute to the common living space.

the rent for the basement room is $940, and it includes it's own huge private bathroom and a huge closet. the room is 13" x 18" and i have more pictures of the house and room if you're interested. the laundry room is the only other thing that is also in the basement, but that is completely separate from your room and bathroom. there is also a separate entrance down there, but it goes through the laundry room, so it's not specifically for your room, although you will probably be the only one using it if you wish to do so. the two of us will be living in the two upstairs rooms that share a bathroom. utilities will also be split evenly into thirds. we are really looking for someone to move in by may 1, but please let us know if you have a later date in mind. deposit is $816.

we are both very laid back and easy going and are looking for the same in our third roommate. the back yard and patio is perfect for summer bonfires and get-togethers. we also each have a well-behaved dog, so you would need to be pet friendly. the landlord has told us no more dogs, but if you have a cat that you would be willing to keep mostly confined to the basement area, that will be fine!
