two lovely, hardworking gals/30-somethings looking for a roommate to rent the entire first floor of a three story, three bedroom, three and a half bath town house off of columbia pike in south arlington (guys/married & serious couples are welcome to apply) in walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, etc.your space: the two rooms (bedroom with en suite bathroom, walk-in closet, french doors leading into gated courtyard) and office are located on the ground floor of the th.
common space: on the 2nd fl is the shared living spaces (dr, lr, k, and 1/2 bath). kitchen comes equipped with all major appliances. depending on what the new roommate brings, all common areas can be fully furnished. (our old roommate has kindly offered to sell us the items featured in the post, but these can easily be replaced with the new roommate's possessions.)
shared space includes large living room, dining room, washer and dryer, kitchen with dishwasher and garbage disposal, and large,beautiful, private courtyard.
additionally, you will have your own, assigned parking space, which is located behind our fenced-in courtyard.
i have lived in this townhouse for two years and truly love it. i hardly have to drive because everything i need is within walking distance. the townhouse is located less than three miles from dc and is one block away from a bus stop for metro and art busses that go to the crystal city, pentagon, pentagon city metro stops and also directly downtown, less than a 20 minute commute! one roommate easily commutes to and from dc this way everyday.
dog disclaimer: must be dog-friendly as we have a pooch in house. sadly, our human-friendly pooch is not as dog-friendly as we humans can be, so no additional pooch tenants allowed per benny, the dog. also, most people are not allergic to him as he is of the poodle variety.
