my current roommate and i just found out that our third roommate will be leaving us to move into dc as of may 1.about us: we are both easy to get along with, non-dramatic, outgoing and social. we aren't neat freaks but we like to try and keep the common areas clean and makes sure the dishes don't pile up to the ceiling in the sink! we are big fans of sunday brunches, summer days at the pool, evenings filled with wine and the bachelor, happy hours, kickball, and going out on the weekends. my roommate and i both have full time jobs and enjoy being fit and healthy so on weeknights we usually take it easy, occasionally go to happy hours and go out once or twice on the weekends! we have a lot of friends in the building so there is always something fun to do!
about you: we are looking for someone in their early/mid-twenties that is fun, outgoing, and easy to get along with! since we are friends with the girl that is moving out we would love if we are able to become friends with our new roommate as well! we are not looking for a roommate that smokes or does drugs.
about the building/your room: the meridian at ballston commons is where the apartment is, and it is a great building, there is a gym, concierge, club room, and rooftop pool!
our apartment is a two bedroom and sunroom, the sunroom is the room that will be available for you to move into. it is $878 a month. most of the apartments in this building use this sunroom as a third bedroom! the room itself is large enough for one or two pieces of furniture and a queen size bed. there is closet space in the living room you can use, and some additional storage options we would be happy to help explain if you are truly interested! we have a nice size living room, with comfy couches and a fully stocked kitchen so you won't need to bring much! the apartment overlooks a nice court yard and we are directly across from the metro and so close to restaurants and bars in the area.
