i am looking for someone to take over my half of a lease on a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in arlington starting any time after august 24. your half of the rent would be $1200 + utilities. you get a lot for the price, especially for this area. the apartment was just remodeled, so all the appliances and fixtures are new.

the apartment is in a complex with 2 pools, a gym, dry-cleaning service, dog walking area, and it's right on the art bus line. it is also close to the village at shirlington and a little under 2 miles to the pentagon city metro. i regularly walk down there.

you would be living with my roommate and her two cats. she is easy-going, respectful of shared space, and friendly. the cats are both short-haired and do normal cat-like things. ideally you would be in a similar place in life 20-30s, professional, more into netflix than raging parties.

i got a job out of the area that starts soon and can't afford to pay rent in two places, so let me know if you are interested!
