i'm looking for a new roommate to rent one bedroom in a 2br/2ba apartment in the carlyle place apartment building on eisenhower ave. across from the eisenhower metro. it's a beautiful building with great amenities including a gym, pool, and club room.about me: my name is chris, i'm a 29 year old working professional from chicago who's been living in virginia for a little over a year now. i'm pretty easy going, but i like to go out on the weekends and occasionally have friends over. i prefer to keep a clean apartment so i'm looking for a reliable roommate (male or female) who can do the same. the lease is through 6/1, so whoever moves in will need to put their name on the lease for the remainder of the term. the total rent for the apartment is $2440, so your half is $1220.
sorry, but the pictures don't do the apartment justice! everything is very new and clean and the bathrooms are beautiful. both the rooms are large and spacious. the kitchen appliance are all quite new and there's an in unit w/d!
the building is pet friendly, though there is a fee. i'd be open to a roommate who has a pet. as far as utilities go: all utilities are included with the exception of electric which ran $60 total last month. electric varies but it's generally more in the summer and less in the winter. comcast internet is $57 per month total. i'd of course expect that we'd split utilities down the middle. parking is available for rent as well.
