i am looking for a male aged 23-35 to assume the remaining 9 months of my lease starting november 15, 2013. specifically, i am offering 1 bedroom in a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment that is a 5 minute walk to the huntington metro (yellow line) and less than a mile from i-495/95. there is currently 1 male roommate (28 years old) living here and he is friendly, courteous, and respectful.the apartment unit has a washer/dryer, internet (with optional cable hook up), a dishwasher, and a large common area in addition to the 2 bedrooms. additionally, the apartment complex has a gym facility, a pool, and tennis courts and has excellent access to the mount vernon trail, old town alexandria, and all major public transit services. the rent includes trash pick-up, gas, and electric. the only additional cost is for internet or cable, which you split with the roommate (ends up being $15 per month). overall, you will be paying less than $1000 each month in rent, but you will not be responsible for rent in november.
by assuming the lease you reserve the option to extend the lease another year in july 2014. this is truly a no hassle option for working professionals in nova or dc. once again, you are not responsible for a deposit (it is paid), and if you need additional furniture i can work with you to provide things you may need.
